Figured I'd just do a combined post on the last couple of support units I have
Attunement servitors are like little floating paintball guns. They literally fire containers of a glowing chemical that sticks to whatever it hits and makes it easier to see. In game this results in giving everything in the 4"AOE -2 DEF. That's it. Nothing fancy, just light up the enemy and make it easier for the rest of your stuff to hit. Since it's an AOE attack, they don't really need to be concerned with a direct hit since the effect happens regardless. I really like the models and they were super easy to paint, since well, there isn't a lot to them.
The Optifex Directive unit is a true support unit. They have 3 different modifications that can be done and they're all pretty useful. They can give your vectors pathfinder, if they don't already have it, give them a magical weapon, or repair them. I had a terrible time painting these guys, as they are more of a necessary unit, rather than something I just want to take.
That pretty much finishes my army for now. I have one Diffusor model to paint and then I'll have my 25 and 35 point lists finished. Looking forward to getting in a few games now.

There's just nothing funny about math
So I scoured wikipedia looking for something funny or amusing I could come up with for the Corollary, but fell asleep half way through.
Anyway, the Corollary is a light vector for Convergence. Unlike most vectors though, it has no offensive abilities at all. So what does it do? Well, how does storing 3 focus a turn sound? Not enough for ya? How about also increasing your castors range? Still you want more? Ok, how about the fact that it can hand out those focus like candy to any other vector? More? You're a demanding little shit. Ok, how about the fact that like all Convergence vectors it can have focus inducted back to it? I'll take all of that. Convergence is already pretty focus efficient, and this thing makes them even more so. There are so many crazy things you can do with it I can't even count them all. Add in that it's a pretty cool looking model to boot, and you have what I consider an auto-include in any list above 15 points. I'll quit rambling now so you can look at the pretty pictures.

You will be Assimilated...
...but not by the Borg.
The Assimilator is one of the heavy floating vectors for Convergence. It's biggest claim to fame is the missile pods that give it ground pounder. At POW 12 and a 4" AOE ground pounder can make short work of light-medium infantry. It's no slouch in melee either. It's rending claw is P+S 14 with weapon master (the only convergence vector with it), on the charge it's pretty bad ass. It also lets you repair d3 boxes if you kill something with the construct rule, but I wouldn't ever count on that. I've used one in game a couple of times and it is pretty nasty. I can't say too much wrong with the model, I love it. Going to be picking up another one for my 35 point Syntherion list.

Let there be Light! (box)
So, been playing around with my own home made light box and so far I like the results. Here's a shot from before with just a piece of white paper behind the model.
And here is the same model in my new light box.
Much cleaner and more professional looking. There's still room for improvement though. I need to add another desk lamp to the (models) right side that has the same bulb as the left. I may need to add a light to the top, but I'm not sure on that yet. I'll add the one on the side and then see how that goes.
On the gaming front, I've gotten in a couple more "games" of warmachine where I lost terribly. I hesitate to call them actual games since I'm still in the very early stages of learning and I'm more or less figuring out just what my guys are capable of.
Still very much involved in 40k night and I'm finding it hard to leave. I'm currently in the new league and doing well (I may be in first place even, I don't know). Guessing I'll keep up with it till this league is over and then switch into warmachine after that. Of course that all depends on when my darling daughters decide to show up and I shift all my focus to them.
I'm still painting away and have several new models to upload, I just haven't got around to it yet. I have my 25 point list for warmachine almost ready, all I need is to finish one more model. All I need after that is two more models to take me to 35 points. That should hold me over there till I can sell my wolves and flesh out lists with other casters (and pick up the expensive as hell Prime Axiom).

....Hello Father.
Father Lucant is the old man of the faction. Literally. He's over 250 years old and one of the first members of the religion to complete transference to a clockwork vessel. In game, from what I've heard, he's one of the strongest casters we have. His feat is pure awesome. It's essentially a time walk. It gives you +4 ARM and all of the repair checks made this round auto pass. So you become tougher AND you get to fix all your vectors. Timing it right is kinda tricky, but I'm sure that'll come to me in time. Very lucky that I was able to pick this up already put together since it's pretty much agreed on that it's the hardest model to assemble. Painting was a breeze. Even though he has a bunch of detail, it's still easy to paint.
With that, I finish all my warmachine models that I currently own. More will be coming down the pipe. Here's a battle group shot till then.

Hello Mother....
Iron Mother Directix and her floaty balls of DOOM! Again, I don't know too much about how she plays since I haven't played her yet. I know that she leans toward lists with more servitor models and the Prime Axiom colossal. And she has floaty balls of doom and that's just cool. Her exponent servitors give you a +2 on damage rolls against their target for a round and that's nothing to sneeze at.
I have to say, I love this model. Where as Syntherion is simple and lacking detail, she has it in spades. Her and Aurora took me longer to paint than any of the other convergence models I have. Can't wait to get rich so I can run a couple of those colossals lol.

[insert whitty title here]
Bit of a block with the title for this one. Here is my Mitigator light vector. I really like this guy and what he can do... in theory. In reality, it's a little difficult to get him to work right and when he does work, he's usually well within charge range and that's all she wrote. What he does, is shoot out a razor bola that does an automatic 1 point of damage to everything in it's 3" AOE. On a direct hit though, is where it gets fun. When it hits, it knocks down everything in its AOE. That's pretty sweet. The down side is it's only a 7" shot, so if you don't kill the 'jacks it fired at, it's gonna get messed up. Still, when it works, it's awesome.

Come fly with me
Here's my take on Aurora, Numen of Aerogenisis. Fancy sounding title ain't it? I don't know much about her or how she works in game as I'm still learning the faction. From what I can tell she is more of a unit caster rather than a vector caster. I'll update more when I learn how to use her. I love this mini though. I was more than a little worried about painting her though, with good reason. I am terrible at painting flesh tones and faces, and her wings looked to be difficult to paint and shade as well. The wings turned out not to be as big an issue as I thought, the face, however, was another story. I could not get it the way I wanted it to look and it was really bringing down the model. My solution? I painted a silver mask on half her face and made her look like Hawk Girl or maybe even Steelheart from Silverhawks. That seemed to turn out well, and I'm fairly happy with the way it all turned out.
That brings me up to two warcasters now, and I have Father Lucent and the Iron Mother still to paint. I still have no idea on what to use for basing on these guys. I don't really want to go with plain grass and snow doesn't feel right either. I'm sure I'll figure something out though, till then I'll just keep painting.
